Yesterday we took a short drive up to Delray Beach after a reader suggested, The Mellow Mushroom. Thanks Christie! It was nice to have gluten-free pizza on the patio outside (I can't get enough outside here—the weather has been amazing—in fact I'm sitting outside now as I type :-)
One of the shops had these incredible hand made glasses. So cute!
Then we stumbled across Nutrition Cottage. Nutrition Cottage... ? Oh, yea...
They have smoothies and fresh made juice in the cafe area—so good. We shared one with papaya, banana, coconut, and dates. Mmm...
And they have many gluten-free sections:
Can you guess which two flours I bought? Haha! I'm about to make my second almond and coconut cake in just a few minutes :-)

How was the pizza at Mellow Mushroom? THere is one downtown (I think) and one in Southglens and I always wonder if we should try it.

It's so nice to go on vacation and find loads of gluten free things! I just love when that happens. Doesn't happen much in Calgary, but when we go down to the US we find loads of great things!

Steve, It was good, but I have to admit, since you asked, the gluten-free pizza crusts in CO are better (Clarity, Sweet Escape, etc).
My children saw your beach photos a few days ago and declared "We need to move to Miami!" LOL I'm pretty sure this post will serve to prove their point. :)

My brother's family lives in Delray Beach! We have not had a chance to get out there yet - I'm envious!!

I used to live in Boca Raton and was a regular at Nutrition Cottage. I LOVE THAT PLACE!!!!!! Their salads are yummy and they really know their stuff.
