I told Applegate how much I love them, and they sent me these products to review. We were so excited when the boxes arrived. But I would never endorse something I didn't completely believe in, even if they sent me free samples. Applegate is awesome, and I believe in them 100%. Here is what I love about the sausage and deli meat they sent:
- They are gluten and casein free.
- They don't contain nitrates.
- The animals are treated humanely, and are never given antibiotics or hormones.
The turkey sausage is a little spicy—So great for chili or quiche or all by itself. But the pork was my favorite sausage. It's so good. The pepperoni and roasted chicken breast... What can you say? They're just the best you can buy. That's how I feel about them. I ♥ Applegate.

I too really love their products and it's the only sandwich meat we ever buy any more.

We buy the applegate turkey deli meat and love it! It's so good. Plus its one of the few deli meats that don't add sugar.
I love Applegate, it is the only one we can use since my son cannot have Gluten, Casein or Soy. The only thing is their packages are shrinking. We use to get 8 pieces of bacon and now we usually only get 6. I didn't know they had the pepperoni, does it have soy? I'll have to check it out.

Finding a source of nitrate free preserved meat is a real joy too!

The kids and I have been taking Applegate Pepperoni with us when we are out a long time for snacks. We wrap a piece or two around a baby carrot. Yummy. For home, we have been buying Trader Joe's broccoli/carrot slaw mix and wrapping it inside Applegate Turkey. These made very easy snack ideas and keeps things grain free which we like! Lucky girl to have received samples.
Applegate Farms is simply the best and my favorite too! I CANNOT live without the Organic Sunday Bacon (buy it by the case!) and their organic lunchmeats are a staple in our house as well. For all your readers that are new to Applegate Farms...they also have a line of non-organic products so be sure to check the package they look very similar on the shelf.

I've been on the fence, debating whether it's "worth" trying due to cost. I'm glad you enjoy their sausages so much... I think I'll try after all!
Applegate turkey bacon is THE BEST!!!!!. No nitrates and less fat than pork bacon.
We were buying Applegate products before all of us were gluten-free just because of the taste and lack of all the bad stuff usually found in deli meats.
Applegate is the only deli meat that we buy. Lucky you to have them send you a stash! ;-).

I've purchased a variety of their breakfast sausage (some apple-something...can't remember) and hot dogs, and oh my, they're good!
I like their apple-chicken breakfast sausages. Just wish they didn't use soy oil to cook them (we try to avoid soy as much as possible in our home).
