I hope you check out My 30 Days to a Food Revolution Post over at The Whole Gang today. I'm really excited about this series, and it's purpose: Real food recipes and tips brought to you by 30 different bloggers for 30 days. For a complete list of prizes being given away, and how you can enter to win click here.
Have you signed Jamie Oliver's Petition for REAL FOOD yet? If not, please take a few seconds and click on over, and then share the link with your friends. There are over 500,000 signatures already, but lets make it a million for Jamie to take to the President. Wouldn't a million be awesome? The link is pretty cool too, because it shows you a map of where everyone who's signed already is living. Want to see if your state has voted a lot or a little? Am I tempting you? I'm trying to. =)If you aren't familiar with Jamie's Food Revolution, watch his speech on Ted Talks (below). You will probably want to share it with your friends too—That's how I found it—A friend passed it on to me =) (Note: This video is not appropriate for children in my opinion. It isn't graphic, but it is raw in it's message, as is necessary.)

OK, I love the internet. I never would have known about these two things without your blog!
I'm signing the "Real Food" petition--it would be against my laws not to.

You're welcome Sarah! Isn't that article on coconut oil by Bruce Fife excellent? =)

I'm so glad, Brandon! I knew you would sign it!
Thanks Jenny! I think you will love it =)
You're welcome Aubree! I have so much faith in Jamie and the real food revolution!
Hey Kelly--You did a wonderful job yesterday over at Diane's! Just loved your words, the recipe, the photos of all of you, and the bean tip! :-) Thanks for this post, too. I had heard about this video of Jamie's but hadn't seen it yet. Although some of this info was on the Food Revolution series, you're right ... it's a powerful piece and needs to be shared. I'm going to do another post in a few days and I'll add it to that. Thanks so much!
xo,
Shirley
thank you for participating, we are new to truly healthy cooking. I always thought I was cooking healthy, but not really! I am excited to try the coconut oil and flour.
Thanks for telling me about this. I would love to win Jamie's book, but I am also having fun finding new blogs.
