Part 2: Photo shoot —Another collaboration

Just before Christmas, I was fortunate enough to do a photo shoot & collaboration with Andy. It was really fun getting to take photos for another cookbook, and working on this project with my hubby, the book designer. Here are the cover designs he created with my photographs. Which is your favorite?

I like #2 the best. 2nd = #3. Love the concept! Congratulations!

I like the top one, but also like the title treatment in the second one!

Top one is my favorite, but like the title treatment of the second. Great to see your successes!!!

I like the second one - the first looks too much like it's only for holiday baking (the green/red color scheme). I also like the third one, but the second one looks really great!!!

Like #2 best, 3 is good too, don't like the yellow background in the first. How exciting!

I think they're all really fun and colorful but I like # 1 the best.

I like #2 the best, as I think it highlights the title of the book the best versus the other covers. No matter which you choose, they all make me hungry for cupcakes!

Second one looks the best to me! The colors and layout look great and stand out.

I think #1 has the best layout.
The composition is perfectly balanced and simple.
This cookbook looks professional.
pr
You don't want too bright or bubble-gummy colors (like for #2) because even if it might look fun, it doesn't look serious and/or professional

Definitely #2!

#2 showcases the base concept of 'allergic to Everything' and 'that everyone can enjoy' the best, hands down.

#1 looks slightly more professional but also looks more like a generic dessert book (Maggie nailed it with the 'holiday baking') because the 'allergyies and inclusiveness are downplayed.

#3's title recedes. I have to force myself to look down at the title... At first I thought there was NO title!

I like number 2! :) I'm a blue green kinda girl though :)

I like the first one the best :). The good news is that all of these would be a great choice!

I like the second one best. The colors are attractive and I think that would draw me to it in a store. Great job!

I think #1 :-) My kid's allergic to strawberries, so #3 provides conflicting feelings ;-)
