Andy's sister, Tegan, is visiting, which gave us a great excuse to buy one of Andy's favorite wines, Riesling sparkling wine. It's dry, but a bit fruity, and very nice to drink. After about an 8 mile bike ride today, towing the girls, it's nice to sit back and enjoy some wine :-) I should sleep well tonight!

Boy, you did earn that wine, Kelly! I love a great riesling--one of my faves. :-) Have a wonderful time with your SIL while she's visiting!
BTW, I mentioned your quiche creation on my post last night on crustless quiche. As I stated, I want to try your version next time ... for the dairy-free option.

Did you know that some wines have casein? Do you know if that one is casein-free? I'm not really sure how common it is, but I think most of them have it. Hmm...
Heather,
WHAT?! Agghh!
You're right. I googled it and it I found, "casein is one of six substances that may be used to clarify wine."
Girrrr...
Wow, I had no idea that wines could contain casein! How does that make sense? Anyway, thanks for the heads up, Heather.
