I made the flourless cake today and it was a huge success. Trader Joe's used to sell one we like but this was much better and I like that I can control the ingredients going into it! Cathy

Cathy--Wow, seeing your comment makes my day! Yes, it is so wonderful when we can control the ingredients ... using less sugar if we want, adapting for other allergens, etc. Way cool! Thanks so much for reporting back. :-)

Kelly--I hope you don't mind me replying. I just love getting positive feedback! Thanks for hosting this great event!

Hi everybody!

Bubba is finally feeling better this morning, but still doesn't want solid food. Thank goodness for homemade ice cream! Yesterday all she had was my vanilla ice cream, and water of course. Poor little girl. I think it was a kind of food poisoning. See, on Friday we went to check out a used minivan, which we are getting when we trade in our Element. Though it's larger, the mpg is the same, and our payments will be lower! Yay!

So I let Ashley play in the minivan while the AAA lady and I talked. When I reached in to get her, guess what I saw on the seat, which was not there before? ...Cheerios. She must have dug them out from between the seats or something, the turkey. It was the first time in her life she's eaten wheat. She was throwing up for 24 hours.

Anyway, thought you might find that relevant.

I love all your comments -- keep 'em coming!

XOXO, Kelly

Kelly--Wow, what a tale on your little one. I certainly believe her violent reaction to wheat. So glad she's better now.

Love the additon of Vittoria's heart tarts--beautiful and a healthy sweet treat!

And, very neat on Naomi's canape theme. Canape is such a cool word I think and you can have such fun with mouth-sized bites. ;-)

Kelly-

What a great theme. I had fun trying to figure out what to make, even though I try to put a little love in to everything I make for the Trainer and myself. Thank you for hosting.
